What We Do
Frequently Asked Questions
We reconcile bank/credit cards, categorize transactions, manage bills and receipts, and deliver clear monthly reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow). We flag anomalies early and keep everything neatly documented for reviewers.
We review your funder/grant record-keeping requirements and map them to your chart of accounts and reports. We monitor how costs are allocated across funding sources, flag unallowable or misallocated expenses, and provide monthly compliance notes as needed.
Yes. We start with a diagnostic review, fix chart-of-accounts issues, reclassify transactions, and reconcile missing periods—then hand you clean opening balances and a simple summary of what changed.
After you add us as an Accountant user in QuickBooks Online, we exchange files through the built-in Requests/Shared documents portal. You upload statements, invoices, and grant/funder docs inside your QBO account—encrypted and access-controlled—no email attachments. If you prefer, we can also use a private, invite-only Google Drive folder.
Invite us as an Accountant user in QuickBooks Online (QBO), and share your funder/grant record-keeping requirements (allowable costs, allocation/reporting rules). If your books are current, that’s enough to begin. If needed, we’ll request only the basics for your selected services (e.g., enabling bank feeds or a few recent statements/budgets).
We work exclusively in QuickBooks Online (QBO). We’ll set up secure bank feeds, smart categorization rules, and use QBO class/location (or Projects) to track funds across funding sources.
